Dear Kiel Community Members

For the past several years, the Kiel Area School District Administration and School Board has been evaluating the District’s facility needs. This process has included reviewing short and long-term challenges, discussing potential solutions, utilizing the expertise of outside firms to help guide the work.

Most recently the District selected a full-service K-12 Facility Planning consultant, Nexus Solutions, to support a comprehensive facility assessment and planning process focused on re-engaging staff, students, families, and the community.

The facility analysis is a comprehensive evaluation of the District’s buildings, grounds, and major systems — from site conditions to rooftops and everything in between.

The data and information we collect will help the District and School Board develop a practical, responsible long-term plan focused on Kiel’s highest priorities.
